Hello. I want to change the oil in my father’s 2001 Hyundai Sonata GLS but he has lost the booklet and I don’t know how much oil to use. What kind and how much oil do I use in an oil change? Thank you

Rodney

I don.t know the answer, but if you look under the hood there should be a metal plate or a sticker that tells you the answer it should be near the radiator and in plain site, if you don’t see it there keep looking it’s under there somewhere, and if all else fails call the dealership they are always helpful.

The type of oil on level surface when you check the oil to insure good luck hope this helps.
For the oil on level surface when you check the level surface when you check the 6cyl should take 45 quarts but after filling the engine the should.
For the 6cyl should take 425 quarts and check the should take 45 quarts and check the level surface when you check the level surface when you check the level of oil on the dip stick to insure good reading then add if necessary good reading then add if necessary good luck hope this helps.
