The Tucson, pronounced Tue-sawn, is an SUV from Hyundai. The car falls in the luxury segment as it has a higher price tag then most normal SUV’s. The Tucson has been built for off road as well as on road driving and is a wonderful car to have. It performs well both on and off road. Seating is also spacious and perfect for the family. The Tucson is a perfect car to take the family out on long drives and spend the day in some nice place after a nice and comfortable long drive.

Specifications

The Hyundai Tucson is powered by a 2.0 liter CRDi engine that offers amazing performance. It is available in 2 models the GL and the GLS. The Hyundai Tucson is a compact SUV that has a front wheel drive as well as an optional 4 wheel drive. The 4 wheel drive is engaged only if the sensors sense the need for more traction.

However, the 4 wheel drive can also be engaged by the driver if he feels the need to do so. When the 4 wheel drive is engaged the engine transmits 50/50 power to the front/rear wheels. The engine produces 112 Ps @4000 RPM. The mileage this car offers is normal, it gives around 10 KMPL in the cities and can go up to 15 on highways provided it is driven properly.

Pricing

The Hyundai Tucson price is higher than the normal SUV’s. It falls in the same category as the Honda CRV and the Ford Endeavor. The Hyundai Tucson price is around Rs. 15-20 lakhs and this price would further increase when on road. The Hyundai Tucson price varies depending on the model the higher end model cost more.

Value for money

The Hyundai Tucson price maybe a bit high but it definitely is worth every penny. The Tucson is a brilliant car to drive around both in cities as well as highways. Moreover the rigidity and feel of driving this car cannot be compared with the other SUV that’s priced much lower than this. The build quality of the Tucson is also excellent.

Overall the Hyundai Tucson is an excellent car, be it for city driving or for those long cruises on the highway or even for off road driving, whatever the landscape the Tucson manages to cover it with ease.
