Ask anyone who has taken a stock car and added a turbo kit to the car what they think. Most will tell you the car drove awesome…until the turbo went out, or some other engine problem developed. The transmission also will wear faster as its not designed to handle the additional power you will be putting through it. Putting a turbo on a car is a great idea, as long as you have a back up car or alot of money to spend on future engine repairs as you will find out soon enough. If you want a fast turbo car, sell your Tiburon and find yourself a Mazdaspeed3, 263 HP 2.3L turbo hotrod for about $23K new, you can’t beat that! Or how about a used 350Z for about $14K for a 2003 model?
